The Path of Salvation & Sonship for the Resolute Man

Every man comes to a crossroads. The greatest decision of your life is not only what you do with Jesus—but who you become because of Him. The Roman Road shows us God’s plan of salvation, and through it we discover something greater than forgiveness: adoption as sons of God.

For the Resolute Man, salvation is about identity, belonging, and mission. It is the transition from living as an orphan to living as a son.

Step 1: The Reality of Sin – Our Need for a Father

Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

• Sin leaves us fatherless, striving, and insecure.
• The first step of sonship is admitting we cannot live without the Father.

Step 2: The Consequence of Sin – Separation from the Father

Romans 6:23a – “For the wages of sin is death…”

• Sin’s ultimate cost is separation from the Father.
• This separation is not only a broken relationship in this life, but an eternal one.
• Eternity has two realities: life with Jesus in the Father’s presence, or eternal separation from Him in hell.
• Without Him, we live as orphans—driven but never secure, and destined for eternal death apart from the Father’s love.

Step 3: God’s Provision – The Gift of Sonship

Romans 6:23b – “…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

• Salvation is more than forgiveness—it is the Father’s gift of sonship.
• Through Jesus, we are welcomed into His household forever.

Step 4: God’s Love Demonstrated – The Father Sends His Son

Romans 5:8 – “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

• The Father gave His Son so we could become sons.
• At the cross, the orphan spirit was broken, and adoption was made possible.

Step 5: The Call to Respond – Receive the Name of Son

Romans 10:9–10 – “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

• To confess Jesus is Lord is to receive a new name and identity.
• Belief in His resurrection makes us sons who walk in new life.

Step 6: The Assurance of Sonship

Romans 10:13 – “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

• God’s promise is sure—when you call, He makes you His son.
• As sons, we are accepted, secured, and commissioned.

“The Roman Road calls every man to respond—not only in confession, but in posture, prayer, and decree.”

Posture

A resolute man does not ask for riches, power, or long life—but for wisdom, discernment, and a listening heart to lead his life, family, and community.

1 Kings 3:9 – “So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong.”

“Father, I come before You as Your son. Not seeking my own gain, but asking for wisdom, discernment, and a heart that listens to You. Establish me as a resolute man who walks in Your ways.”

Prayer

(Receive Christ / “Sinner’s Prayer”)

“Father God, I admit I am a sinner. I have tried to run my own life, and I have fallen short. I turn from my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life.

Jesus, I invite You to come into my heart, take control of my life, and be my Lord and Savior. I trust You fully, and I choose to follow You from this day forward.

Father, I also receive the greater gift of adoption. I am no longer an orphan—I am Your son. You have given me a new name, a new identity, and a new purpose. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Resolute Decree of Sonship
I am no longer an orphan.
I am a son of the Most High God.
I have been forgiven, adopted, and secured by the blood of Jesus.
I receive the Father’s love, His wisdom, and His purpose for my life.
I will live resolutely as a man of God, walking in my true identity, standing firm in faith, and leading with courage, humility, and honor.
Resolute Call
Salvation is not just a decision or moment—it is adoption into the Father’s family. A resolute man embraces his new identity and walks with brothers who will remind him of his true name. If you’ve received this gift of sonship, connect with us. You were never meant to walk alone.
Resolute Man

Determined, unwavering, and steadfast in faith and actions. Demonstrating a strong commitment to God, grounded in my identity in Him, fulfilling the divine purpose for which I was created for and called.

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 ESV
