3 Ways You Miss God’s Will

“Summary:
You’ve prayed, listened, waited … and God’s will still isn’t clear. Is there something wrong?
Is it possible to miss His will? That uncertainty can be frustrating—but it can actually draw you closer to God. Let’s ask the hard questions and find real answers together at church.

God promises that when we seek Him, He will guide our steps. But sometimes, we miss God’s will and wonder if we’re doing something wrong. When we know why we’re missing God’s will, we’re better able to move forward.”

• God’s Moral Will
• God’s Permissive Will
• God’s Personal Will

3 Ways We Miss God’s Will
1. We over-spiritualize God’s will.
2. We overanalyze it.
3. We assume that hard means wrong.

*yada: to know deeply, relationally, and experientially
*anag: to be soft or pliable, to take delight, to find joy, to deeply enjoy

-You’ll never fulfill your calling if fear gets the final vote.
-You can’t walk in God’s will if you’re disobeying His Word.

Reflection Questions
• Where are you waiting for a sign when God has already given you a step?
• Where are you overthinking and need to grow in faith?
• Where is God calling you to trust Him enough to risk something?
