God Will Heal Your Mind

SUMMARY :
Everybody experiences healing differently. Sometimes it happens in a fast, immediate, miraculous way. Often, it’s progressive and happens in stages. No matter where we are in our healing journeys, we will always need Jesus and His people.

Is your life just … meh? Nothing’s falling apart, but it’s not great either. You’re stuck in the middle, and it feels lonely. You don’t have to stay stuck. And you don’t have to heal alone. There’s hope in the middle of the journey. We’re talking about it at church this week.

KEY SCRIPTURE :
“They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?” He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.” Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.” Mark 8:22–25 NIV

•Never underestimate what God can do when you simply bring someone to Jesus.
•Partial healing is not failed healing; it’s healing in progress.

Mental Healing

SUMMARY :
Struggling with mental health doesn’t make you a bad Christian. It just means you’re human. The Bible shows us that God cares about our whole being, including mental health. With God as our source of strength, we can find help, peace, and comfort.

Do you ever feel trapped by your thoughts and emotions? On the outside you’re holding it together, but inside you’re struggling. If you wonder if you’ll ever feel better, you’re not alone. In our new series, Heal Your Hurting Mind, we’ll discover there’s hope and a path toward healing.

“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him …

Jesus used stories and parables to teach spiritual truth. Similarly, we can use media like commercials to help us remember God’s truth, too. Together, we can be encouraged that God has a message for all of us.

The Super Bowl is here and that means one thing:
It’s time for 30-Second Theology!
We’ll watch commercials in church, and Pastor Craig will use them to illustrate truths from the Bible about God and the life He wants for us.

KEY SCRIPTURE :
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Identify the lies.

This Love Breaks The Rules

SUMMARY :
A church that pleases God is filled of people who love like Jesus. Jesus loved the broken, cared for the hurting, forgave the sinful, and included the outcast. Love doesn’t just point people to Jesus; it carries them to Him.
Love isn’t just a feeling. It’s picking up the weight when someone can’t carry it themselves. This week, we’re exploring what it looks like to love people like Jesus, and how it changes everything.

KEY SCRIPTURE :
“A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. They gathered in such large numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. Choosing Unity In A Divided World 

SUMMARY :
A church that pleases God is a unified church. While being a unified community is not an easy thing to do, we can work toward this goal by leaning into God and loving His message, His mission, and His people.

We believe the local church is the hope of the world. We can do infinitely more together than apart, because when the Church stands united, the world sees Jesus clearly. This week, we’re talking about how to be unified-and why it matters more than ever.

KEY SCRIPTURE :
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” 
John 13:34-35 NIV
