SUMMARY :
Have you ever wanted to be more generous but weren’t sure where to start? Maybe you see needs around you but don’t know how to help. Or you give when you can, but wonder if there’s more to generosity than just the moment. What if generosity could be something that shapes your life every day?

Giving is an action, but generosity is a mindset. This week, reflect on the three types of generosity mindsets-spontaneous, strategic, and sacrificial-and ask God how you can live radically generous today.

KEY SCRIPTURE :
“But generous people plan to do what is generous, and they stand firm in their generosity.”

HIGHLIGHTS :
•Giving is an action, but generosity is a mindset.
•In 2023, the average American gave just 1.9% of their total income to charity.

3 Generosity Mindsets
• Spontaneous
• Strategic
• Sacrificial

1. We give spontaneously when compassion moves us.
•If you only give when you feel something, you won’t give when you don’t.
2. We give strategically when our convictions guide us.
3. We give sacrificially when love costs us.

5 Reasons I Tithe

SUMMARY :
Tithing isn’t about earning salvation, appeasing a guilty conscience, or buying God’s blessings. Instead, this biblical principle teaches us to put God first. When we trust God with the tithe, we experience how He does more with 90% than we can do with 100% on our own.

When times are tough, being generous seems impossible. We want to care for those around us, but where do we even start? How can we possibly make a difference? Together, let’s learn how in our series, This Is What We Do.

KEY SCRIPTURE :
“A tithe of everything from the land … belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.”
Leviticus 27:30 NIV‬‬

HIGHLIGHTS :
•Tithing is returning the first 10% of what God entrusts to us, worshiping Him with our first and our best.

What Tithing Is Not About
• Earning salvation.
• Appeasing a guilty conscience.
• Buying God’s blessings.

5 Reasons Why I Tithe

1. Tithing teaches me to put God first.
-It takes faith to give first.
2. It reminds me that God is my source.
3. Jesus told me to tithe.
4. It breaks my fear and builds my faith.
-God can do more with 90% and His blessings than we can do with 100% on our own.
5. It connects my resources to eternal impact.

Guarding Your Family From The Digital Danger

SUMMARY :
Throughout history, our spiritual enemy has found ways to attack us and our families. With God’s help and through honest conversation, we can fight back by setting barriers in place to protect ourselves and the ones we love most from the dangerous side of technology.
Screens aren’t going anywhere, but you can change how they affect your family. This week, get practical help for guarding your kids from digital dangers and reclaiming what matters most.

After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of [our enemies]. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

• Teens who spend four or more hours on screens daily are twice as likely to experience anxiety and depression.
• On average, children are exposed to porn by age 12.
• At age 13, 53% of girls report being unhappy with their bodies. By age 17, it jumps to 78%.

• What passwords do you have access to?

2. Strengthen the gates.
• Delay the device.
• Use parental controls and filter adult content.
• Have ongoing conversations, not one-time lectures.
• Set time limits and boundaries for when and where devices are allowed.
• Model healthy tech habits yourself.
